For many patients, access to care can be an obstacle to achieving pregnancy and starting a family. With this in mind, The Midwest Center for Reproductive Health, P.A. (MCRH) has developed an extensive satellite network and continues to be an innovator in extended network medicine including phone consultations not only in the United States but internationally as well. A tribute to the success of this approach is the fact that many patients who undergo in vitro fertilization at MCRH remain in their local community for the majority of their care.
This "decentralized" approach is further developed by the establishment
of a "satellite" network of health care facilities across the Upper
Midwest. On site consultations were initially provided in high quality tertiary
health care centers in Minnesota, such as Duluth, Mankato, Park Rapids, Sartell and St Cloud.
As this proved beneficial, the services were expanded to Fargo, Minot and Bismarck,
North Dakota. Great Falls, Helena and Missoula, Montana became the next outposts
for MCRH, followed by Anchorage, Alaska. Most recently, services have been
expanded to
Western Wisconsin with on-site consultations in Eau Claire and Wausau.
The success of this approach is evident not only in the vast area of our medical care coverage, but also by the letters of thanks we receive from patients who have touched our lives and whose lives we have blessed to touch.
