Thank you for your interest in the Vested Interest Program (VIP) Refund Plan offered by The Midwest Center for Reproductive Health. Our program limits the amount of money at stake for the comprehensive treatment plan and provides a 90% refund should IVF treatment prove unsuccessful.

In vitro fertilization is a very successful treatment option for infertility but, like most infertility therapies, more than one treatment may be required before a pregnancy is achieved. Naturally, many couples are anxious about the costs without the guarantee of a successful outcome. The Vested Interest Program was created to give our patients every opportunity to succeed with IVF without the financial risk that normally accompanies multiple treatments. You will have peace of mind during treatment knowing that the costs are fixed and you are free to pursue the treatment you need to help you have a baby.

This program enables you to undergo IVF treatment without having to worry about the uncertainty associated with the cost of multiple cycles. In fact, couples who are willing to proceed with multiple IVF cycles have a much better chance of success. For a fixed and discounted fee, you have up to three fresh IVF cycles to overcome infertility. Should you have frozen embryos, you have the option of completing additional frozen embryo cycles. If treatment isn't successful you'll receive a 90% refund, leaving your resources intact to pursue other family building options.

The Midwest Center’s ‘VIP’ Vested Interest Program

How Does the VIP Plan Work?

This program is open to couples meeting eligibility criteria. If you elect to apply for the VIP Program, your medical records and IVF prescreening tests will be reviewed to determine if you meet the eligibility requirements. If you meet the criteria, as many patients will, the VIP payment is made to MCRH prior to the initiation of your first cycle. With this single fee, you have one year and up to three fresh and additional frozen cycles to have a baby.

Flat Fee – 90% Refund

Patients choosing this plan will pay a flat fee of $19,500 . When the couple takes a baby home from the hospital, we have earned the fee. If the attempts are unsuccessful after completing at least three IVF cycles, 90% of the fee is refunded. Some costs not included in this program are: prescreening tests, medication, or surgeries. Patients requiring ICSI or donor sperm are eligible for this program at slightly higher fees.

Patients achieving a pregnancy on the first attempt will pay more with this program than the traditional fee for service payment methods. On the other hand, if you don’t take a baby home, MCRH assumes the bulk of the costs, hence the name, “Vested Interest Program”.

Can Out-of-State Patients Access the VIP Plan?

Many of our patients travel from out-of-state for treatment and they can participate in the program. However, any fees associated with coordination of care and monitoring by your local physician will not be covered within the VIP program.
