Your First Appointment
The first step toward your path to parenthood is an initial consultation with Dr. Corfman. While it may seem daunting to seek medical treatment or to see an infertility specialist, many patients feel empowered after this consultation. You and your spouse/ partner will leave with a many of your questions answered and a proposed treatment plan for your particular diagnosis.
During this consult, Dr. Corfman will review your medical records which will
include a thorough evaluation of you and your partner's history, test results
and fertility treatment you may have undergone. He may also recommend that
you undergo additional tests in order to pinpoint an accurate diagnosis.
You may be relieved to know that many patients can be treated successfully without the need for in vitro fertilization. If that need should arise, feel comfortable in knowing that The Midwest Center for Reproductive Health, P.A. (MCRH) has success rates which rank amongst the highest in the country.
