Often, people are faced with the difficult choice of giving up their genetic contribution to family building by accepting donor eggs, donor sperm, or donor embryos. We recognize how difficult this decision is and what a great sacrifice it can be. Our team at MCRH strives to provide you with guidance and information, which will help in making the best decision for you and your family.
The process begins with a consultation with Dr. Corfman to discuss which donor options might apply to your specific situation. After a thorough discussion, you will have the opportunity to ask our team any questions about the process and donor options. Our third-party coordinator will provide you with further information and resources to help you make this very important decision.
Once you have made the decision to proceed, we will handle all the details for you. Our team will coordinate necessary testing and help you effectively navigate the process of receiving donor sperm, donor eggs, or donor embryos. We recognize the importance of your decision and assure you that we will provide compassionate, expedient, and thorough care. It is our goal to make your dream of building a family a reality.
Our donor program and care process is FDA-compliant. Our donor egg program meets and surpasses guidelines set forth by the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the FDA for screening and selection of egg donors. After a detailed personal, physical, laboratory, and psychological screening of prospective egg donors, we provide you with the opportunity to be matched with a donor, either anonymously or with a donor whom you know (directed donor). At MCRH, we are willing to work with most FDA-approved donor sperm facilities when using anonymous donor sperm.
